Residence Inn by Marriott La Quinta

The rooms here are actually serviced apartments, which was awesome! They have dishwashers, dishes, pots and pans, so you can actually spend some time, prepare some meals, recharge from eating junk food all the time. The views of the desert mountains are breathtaking. There's a Costco right next door, so bring your membership card and tank up on the cheap (but long lines, so plan ahead). The rooms have their own little living space, you can hook up your Netflix or Amazon Prime subscription to the TVs, and just kick back and get away from the hectic life of Los Angeles. Do note, the drive to Joshua Tree is 1h to 1h30m or so. It's a great place to stay, would come here again for a longer stay.

I liked the idea of three main breakfast entres, but they weren't always hot. The room was very thoughtfully laid out. I loved all the little touches!

I liked how safe it was. It was also very spacious both outside the parking lot and in our room. I also like the colors inside and outside the hotel. Especially on the inside, very soft warm colors. Nothing Tacky.

Nice exercise area, and the pool seemed nice. Staff was very helpful and we were able to have Amazon packages delivered to hotel for us. Breakfast was good, and room was very comfortable and plenty of space.

The room was well appointed with all the conveniences of a small apartment. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and elegant. The main living area was large and held the four of us very comfortably.
